In only the third race of the Shenandoah Speedway season, Jason Alder of AB Motorsports earns his first pole and feature win of the 2016 season. AB Motorsports had been struggling with a phantom electrical problem the first two races of the season which after some time was properly diagnosed and 04302016fixed. “These motors need to be properly grounded and with the heat and constant vibration a wiring problem can easily develop. We figured this one out finally!” said Crew Chief James Alder. With the car running strong from the time it was rolled off the trailer, Jason was able to maneuver the Champion Spark Plugs, Fortinet Bandolero to his first pole position of the Shenandoah season.

The car kept getting better and better as the day went on and was able to lead the feature race from the green flag to the drop of the checkered flag. “It always feels great to get our first win of the season knowing how heard we have worked to be competitive on the track” said driver Jason Alder who went on to say, “this win is a big confidence builder knowing we are picking up where we left off last season. We have high hopes for a solid season here at Shenandoah and want to be in the position of battling for the Championship in the final race in October”.
