Want a chance to challenge the INEX Semi Pro Winter Nationals Champion leader to a race?

You will have your chance to go toe-to-toe with Jason Alder on Andretti's state-of-the-art go-kart tracks. The electric go karts have instant acceleration as you put the pedal to the metal around hairpin turns and long straightaways to try to cross the finish line ahead of Jason.

For those who prefer the race simulators, you will also have your chance to race Jason virtually. Andretti’s racing simulators are the most advanced on the market and deliver big-time on thrills and heart-pounding excitement. Jason is up to the challenge, are you?

All this fun and more is waiting for you on Sunday, April 7, 2019 from 2-5 PM at Andretti Indoor Karting and Games in Marietta.

This event will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Why JDRF? Because Jason’s sister, Jessica, was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when she was just 2 ½ years old. For over 17 years, diabetes has been a major part of our family – there is no “pit stop” for a person with Type 1 diabetes.

Jason and his team, AB Motorsports has committed to supporting the mission of JDRF who is the leading global organization funding type 1 di

abetes (T1D) research. JDRF's goal is to progressively remove the impact of T1D from people's lives until we achieve a world without T1D. As the largest charitable supporter of T1D research, JDRF is currently sponsoring scientific research in over 20 different countries.

It is the Alder family’s greatest hope that one day there will be a cure for Jessica. With knowledge of the amazing research that JDRF finances, Jason’s parents chose to store his umbilical cord blood in the hopes that it can be used one day to cure his sister. His name – Jason – was chosen because it means “healer”. If his cord blood isn’t the key to a cure for this sister, his sponsorship revenue will certainly help to fund the researchers that are working so hard to heal her.
