The spring is heating up and Jason Alder and Team77's hot streak of wins continues. The AB Motorsports team has traveled from Maryland to the Texas Motor Speedway to race in the 5 round series for the Spring Battle Championship taking place on March 28-31. Jason earned two poles in the first two races and has been one of the favored drivers in the Semi-Pro division. After a disappointing round 1 race, Team 77 shook it off and lead every lap through a caution filled race. This track has two very tight corners and is hard to get a run and make a pass. Patience is the key on this track. Jason was strong on each run of the race allowing him to maintain his small lead over the field. "It feels good to win in Texas especialy this being my first time at this track. I look forward to the rest of the series and hopefylly we can win again. I want to thank Steven Ross at Steven Ross Motorsports for the fast car. It handled great all day and to Jordan Black at Apex Driver Development for spotting. I aslo want to thank 2020 Teknology and Champion Auto Parts for the support these past several years. We also appreceiate the work of our chartiy of choice, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
Round 1 ended early with an on-track incident causing damage to the front suspension where he finished in 13th place. The Team 77 crew is looking forward to Round 3 and 4 which are schedule for Saturday, March 30th starting at 6PM CDT.
